PatternMaker Basic Viewer is a free CAD software program for opening, viewing, and printing pre-made sewing patterns.
It is ideal for dressmakers, fashion students, tailors, pattern users, and sewing enthusiasts who want to work with pre-made PatternMaker patterns without drafting from scratch. With the Basic Viewer, you can open compatible pattern files, enter measurements and generate custom patterns. Once the pattern is generated you can then save and print patterns for sewing.
PatternMaker Basic Viewer is not a full drafting or pattern editing program. It is designed mainly for viewing and printing completed patterns. For users who only need to use ready-made patterns, it provides a practical and affordable entry point into CAD patternmaking.
PatternMaker Basic Viewer includes three custom-fit patterns at no charge:
- women’s pants
- fitting bodice
- set of interchangeable collars that can be added to the bodice or other patterns.
You can use these patterns for as long as you wish, for free! You can add more garment patterns by purchasing the add-in garment collections.
