• Have house blocks. No cutter is allowed to cut using new methods that have not been tested and approved. 
• One house grading rule for all similar categories.
• House symbol library for grains/notches/buttonholes. 
• Seam allowance standards by edge type (curve vs. straight; fit vs. finish seams). For example: 1/4 inch for necklines and collars. 1/2 inch for all inner seams. 1 inch for side seams. You can have a unique one for your business.
