Let’s use the example of a skirt pattern that has waist darts. What happens if the waist and hip measurements are the same or if the waist is larger than the hip? Logic allows you to program it so that in this case the skirt will have no darts at all. What if the waist is a lot smaller than the hip? The designer can use logic to program the pattern to use 2 darts instead of single darts.

MacroGen uses a “Logic window” where you configure steps and results. Steps define actions like drawing points or objects, while results can assign values or create conditions. The program’s design supports layered and nested logic, meaning you can build complex macros with layered options.
